30 Days to Healthier Living

“Even a journey of a thousand miles begins with just a single step.”.  That is one of my favorite quotes because it tells us that no matter how long a journey or process might be, we need to start by taking that first step.  I tell my clients that achieving their weight loss and health goals is a journey.  When you first decide to take control of your health and fitness, you may think about your goals and think they are unattainable.  But you will surely fail unless you take that first step.  Reaching your goals is like a journey.  There may be setbacks and unexpected detours, but as long as you stick to your plan, over time, you will achieve the results you desire.

One of the “first steps” I recommend to my clients wanting to start a journey of health and wellness is to change their eating habits.  This is one of the hardest things you will do.  I find it is much easier to get clients to come to the gym to exercise three times a week than it is to get them to fundamentally change their eating habits.  And one of the reasons people find it so hard (besides giving up some of the foods they love) is because they do not know what to change.  Even when the desire to change is there, the knowledge about what to change is not.  That is why I like to recommend the Arbonne 30 Days to Heathier Living program.  It is a great way to start as it provides a map for that initial journey.  The programs provides healthy meal replacements, as well as gives you information on what to eat, how to cook and what foods avoid.
